Terms of Service

Last updated: July 21, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ATTACCA ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download, install, or use the Software. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will note the "Last updated" date at the top of this page whenever changes are made.

2. License Grant

ATTACCA is licensed, not sold. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software.

License types

  • Free tier: A limited-feature license available at no cost. No payment or license key required. Subject to feature restrictions as described on the Pricing page.
  • Lifetime license (Standard or Pro): A perpetual license purchased with a one-time payment. Valid for use on up to two machines at a time. The license never expires. Each purchase includes twelve (12) months of software updates.
  • Update Subscription: An optional recurring annual purchase ($49/year) that extends access to new software versions after the included first year. The Update Subscription is not a license to use the Software — your perpetual license remains valid regardless. If the Update Subscription lapses, you retain full use of all versions released during your paid update period and may resubscribe at any time.
  • Standard to Pro Upgrade: A one-time purchase available to holders of a valid Standard license, which upgrades the existing license in place to the Pro tier.

General license terms

  • One license permits use on up to two machines at a time. You may deactivate a machine and activate the license on a different machine at any time.
  • Licenses are personal to the purchaser and may not be shared, resold, sublicensed, or transferred without prior written permission.
  • License keys are managed through Keygen.sh. Periodic internet connectivity is required for license validation.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Software
  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Software
  • Redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or lend the Software to any third party
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or marks in the Software
  • Use the Software to develop a competing product or service
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any license management, copy protection, or security features
  • Use the Software in any manner that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law

4. Intellectual Property

ATTACCA, including all associated code, documentation, graphics, logos, and brand elements, is the intellectual property of Cody Yeager / Show Tools. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

You retain full ownership of any content you create using the Software, including show files, cue lists, scripts, and media configurations. We claim no rights to your content.

5. User Content and Data

ATTACCA stores all workspace files, show files, and user content locally on your machine. The Software does not upload, transmit, or sync your content to any external server.

The Software connects to the internet only for: license validation (via Keygen.sh), update checks, fixture-library searches you explicitly start (see the Privacy Policy), and the Web Remote feature (local network only). No user-created content is transmitted during these connections.

6. Third-Party Services

ATTACCA integrates with third-party protocols and services including sACN (E1.31), Art-Net, MIDI, and OSC. We are not responsible for the functionality, reliability, or behavior of third-party hardware, drivers, or software used in conjunction with ATTACCA.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant that the Software will meet all of your requirements. You assume all risk associated with the installation and use of the Software.

8. Show Control Disclaimer

ATTACCA is a professional tool designed for use by qualified show control operators. The user is solely responsible for the safe operation of all equipment connected to or controlled by the Software, including but not limited to lighting fixtures, audio systems, video displays, and any device receiving DMX, sACN, Art-Net, MIDI, or OSC data.

The user should always maintain manual backup controls for critical show functions. The developer is not responsible for any injury, property damage, equipment damage, or financial loss resulting from the use of ATTACCA in a live performance or installation environment.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, EQUIPMENT DAMAGE, SHOW FAILURES, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

The developer's total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the Software in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, the developer's liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license immediately if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and delete all copies in your possession.

Cancellation of an Update Subscription (whether by you or by us) ends access to new software versions at the end of the current billing period. Your perpetual license itself remains valid — the Software continues to work, and you retain full use of every version released during your paid update period.

You may voluntarily terminate your use of ATTACCA at any time by uninstalling the Software and requesting license deactivation by emailing showtoolsofficial@gmail.com.

11. Updates

We may provide updates, patches, or new versions of the Software at our discretion. Updates may modify features, fix bugs, change system requirements, or alter functionality. We are not obligated to provide updates, maintenance, or support. Continued use of the Software after an update constitutes acceptance of any changes introduced by that update.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada.
